It is part of the mission of Malvern Concert Club to bring music in all its forms to young people.
We currently fund three days for Toscana Strings to visit some of our Primary schools (two each day). They perform stories set to music in a fun and interactive way. The young people love the presentations and hopefully it will encourage some of them to learn an instrument or enjoy listening to music. The response from school staff has also been positive.
We also fund occasionally a workshop with professional musicians for, primarily, senior school students to work on pieces that they will perform with the ensemble as part of a lunchtime concert.
The help of Severn Arts in arranging these activities is very much appreciated.
