Thursday 2 February 2017 2.15pm – CBSO

Haydn: Symphony 31

Mozart: Piano Concerto 27 (soloist: Francesco Piemontesi – having heard the Swiss pianist twice in Birmingham 2015-16, I highly recommend him)

Beethoven: Symphony 5

Conductor: Mirga Gražinyté-Tyla – our first opportunity to hear the CBSO’s new Music Director in a programme that reflects her musical tastes.

At 1pm Michael Seal will conduct the Birmingham Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra in Ravel’s Daphnis & Chloé Suites 1 & 2 (free entry).

We have 50 seats in the front three rows of the circle sides (on both left and right).

Pick-up details
