Scott Brothers Duo – brothers Jonathan and Tom Scott – perform in instrumental combinations which cover the entire keyboard spectrum including Piano & Organ, Harmonium & Piano and Piano Duet, the last of which they offer us tonight.
They have performed at all of the major UK concert halls, and at venues throughout Europe, South America and the Far East, as well appearing as guest solo pianists for English National Ballet’s UK tour of ‘Strictly Gershwin’. Their entertaining programmes, presentation and dynamic performing style have earned them great acclaim and many return visits. Born in Manchester, they both studied at Chetham’s School of Music and at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). As well as the Duo, they each have separate performing and teaching careers. Scott Brothers Duo have recorded several CDs on their own label, to great critical acclaim.
Making their first appearance at the Club, the Scott Brothers Duo are also planning to present an afternoon concert for local Malvern schoolchildren.
